Yes, I also like Agassi for his determination and sportsmanship. He was nowhere as talented as Sampras, yet through hard work, he managed to play at (close to) the same level.

For the same reason, I admire Nadal. He’s not as talented as many players, e.g., Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Andy Roddick, but he works so much harder on and off the court. He’s also improved so much over the years.

before the russian came along, everyone had $100 worth of asset in terms of receivables, and $100 of liability due to payable. The net equity for everyone both before and after is 0.

being dependent on others is just the way of the modern life. When you’re free, try to read this http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/I,_Pencil essay. Then you’ll realize that everyone depends on everyone else.

well. dependence has always been part and parcel of life, right from the beginning in form of infancy.

throughout life there will be people dependent on you, and you in turn being dependent on others. and well maybe tuesdays with morrie will grow to be more, i dont know, close to the heart as we all grow older. it’s the duty of the old to advise the young, like morrie, but still it’s the duty of the young to scorn/fear the advice of the old. haha.

anyway dependence doesnt necessarily mean old age, guess it’s worse when you’re young with many years left in you and disabled or something, that would suck more right?

for now just enjoy life la friend!!!
